Green tea abolishes bad breath, say scientists | Mail Online

Green tea's status as a 'superfood' grows: A study finds it even abolishes bad breath (it already helps prevent cancer and heart disease)

Yet *another* study on the benefits of Green Tea. This time, researchers praise the tea's ability to combat halitosis, or bad breath.

I'll admit, when I first started drinking Green tea I had no idea it helped with this. But I guess it's just another nice little side benefit that our Green tea provides.

I'm almost a little miffed at the amount of media attention Green tea receives. As an avid drinker of green, black, and oolong teas, I can attest to the health benefits of the latter two as well.

I wish they would receive even half the media attention green tea gets, as these teas really are good for the heart (literally!) and soul, with proven medical benefits.

But perhaps I'm just being picky. What ever gets folk drinking tea in greater numbers is a net win. As for me, I'm going to brew some oolong.

Green Tea is a very popular Oriental Tea . Check out my mini-blog for updates on the Green tea scene in Japan.
